The Bass Player
It has been a few months since I've finished a painting but sometimes you have to get away from it for a while to get better at it. I feel like I had time to think about the mechanics a little more so I've switched how I paint and this came out. It is probably my favorite now.
I really enjoy painting about music and this time, I wanted to give a little recognition to the bass player. He's the time keeper and everything can easily fall apart without him but nobody every really notices him. Well, here is my version of the bass player. The colors and movement give the feeling of a traditional jazz club during a bass solo (a lively bass solo). So now all eyes are on him.
